Anna Whitmore

Sonoma, California

“Through time, many have found inspiration and meaning in their natural surroundings. Flowers and trees have come to represent meaningful sentiments and I would like to share their expressions through my jewelry.”

Anna’s jewelry expresses this inspiration through botanical stampings that add texture and detail to her work. All of Anna’s metalwork is hand fabricated in California. She uses oxidized sterling silver as the base of her designs, creating contrast by mixing metals or combining natural gemstones. Argentium silver (930) and 14k gold in both yellow and pink alloys provide just the right contrast to the darkened silver.

Anna has paired botanical symbols with gemstones of similar emotion. Her pairings simplify the choices that you, as a buyer have to make. On applicable styles, choose the stone and the metal you want and Anna will do the rest. Special orders (requesting a particular symbol) are welcomed.

Inspired by nature and her California aesthetic, Anna Whitmore’s jewelry collection is created from an assortment of materials including oxidized silver, argentium, 14k gold, fresh water pearls and natural gemstones. Anna’s designs  come from her relationship with the environment; plants, textures, light and movement have a great influence on her aesthetic. Her work is feminine yet accessible for the active woman. She lives and works in Sonoma, California.
