In the last few years, Robert has focused on expanding his REALSTEEL™ line. He was awarded the prestigious Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year Award in New York in 2011, less than a year after first showcasing his jewelry in the wholesale marketplace. Since then, he has been featured in numerous trade magazines, including JCK, Gold Digest, InDesign, InStore and Art Jewelry.
In addition to Robert Grey Kaylor’s handcrafted jewelry, the gallery carries a wide range of functional furniture pieces, jewelry, hand-blown glass, and wooden boxes. Come browse our shop in Downtown Boise’s BoDo District.
Our designs feature hand fabricated jewelry using antique steel nails, railroad date nails and cabinet keys. Each piece showcases the contrast between blackened steel and precious stones and metals.
Our customers know and appreciate the artists we represent. They’re the top in their art and execution of their craft. We look forward to showing you our latest jewelry, furnishings, and artwork.
Robert Grey Kaylor
Robert was attracted to the art of jewelry design from a young age. It did not take long before he had a workshop in his first apartment where he made one-of-a-kind pieces in silver and turquoise. Since then, he’s been a jeweler for more than 35 years and has started the REALSTEEL jewelry line.
